As Senior Advisor to the U.S. Surgeon General, she spearheaded the nation's first federal strategy to address clinician burnout, ensuring we have enough nurses and doctors to care for us when we need them most. At the Department of Veterans Affairs, she became the agency’s first National Director of Clinician Wellbeing, improving the efficiency of how doctors use electronic medical records resulting in quickly expanding primary care access for veterans.And back home in New Jersey, she led a successful campaign to pass legislation to stop insurance companies from denying essential care. Tina also leveraged private sector innovation to reform healthcare. She became the first Chief Clinical Officer of Abridge, a generative AI company tackling administrative paperwork so that doctors and nurses can focus on caring for their patients. As a physician, I took an oath to first do no harm.
